 Best Practice

  • Assist in formulation of NMG Best Practice
  • Ensure that NMG Best Practice is implemented within client base
  • Assist in the formulation of NMG best practice, and work on consulting projects

 Budgets

  • Responsible for setting the budgets for client portfolios
  • Responsible for monitoring income and expenditure when compared to the budget on a monthly basis
  • Responsible for achieving ad hoc billing targets as agreed in the budget
  • Participate in new business and cross  initiatives within the branch

People

  • Foster a good working relationship with clients,  staff, manager, internal divisions and colleagues

 Client Relationship Management

  • Be able to  run with the client portfolio
  • Establish a relationship with key decision makers , the participating Employer & Trustees
  • Set an annual year plan per Fund and arranging Trustee/Mancom meetings and other Fund activities and ensuring that this is adhered to
  • Provision of appropriate advice, excellent client service and project management of Fund critical events to ensure the smooth running of the Fund
  • Effective management of service providers and adherence to NMG standard operating procedures and best practice
  • Prepare and conduct member presentations
  • Conduct risk re-brokes
  • Take minutes of meetings
  • Prepare  and distribute agenda packs for meetings
Qualifications

  • B.Com or equivalent degree – NQF6
  • Further studies an advantage
  • FAIS accredited
 Experience

  • Good written communication
  • At least 5 years Employee Benefits consulting experience
  • Passion for technical issues and industry developments
  • Good attention to detail
  • Excellent implementation and organisational skills
  • Good people skills
  • Good understanding of the business
  • Ability to travel to conduct member presentations
  • Have own reliable vehicle
