Jacky Mathekga Jacky Mathekga

Chief Executive Officer: NMG Benefits

Location: Johannesburg

Jacky obtained his BA Law, LLB and LLM Tax from the University of the Witwatersrand and has extensive management experience in both the public and private sectors, as well as being appointed as a Commercial member of the Tax Court in December 2007. Previous experience includes serving as the Executive Assistant to the CEO of Ernst & Young (EY), responsible for the Legal, Risk, Company Secretarial and Partner Affairs and an ex officio member of the Executive Committee and Board of EY.

As the Principal Officer of Discovery Health Medical Scheme for a period of six years, Jacky was involved in the development and implementation of the Scheme’s strategy and governance and served as an ex officio member of the Board of Trustees and the Scheme’s various sub-committees. During this time, he also served as a Non-Executive Director on the Board of Healthcare Funders Southern Africa (BHF) and as Deputy Chairperson of the Policy and Regulatory Sub-Committee ?{ of the Board of Healthcare Funders.

Jacky joined NMG Benefits as an Executive Director responsible for Business Development in September 2010. In this role, he was responsible for the development of new business opportunities and growth of the organisation. In June 2016, he was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of NMG Benefits and serves on the Board of Directors of NMG.


Geoff BaarsKey People Geoff Baars

Executive Director, NMG Group

Location: Perth

Geoff is one of the founders of NMG, and his current role is internally focused, dealing with NMG’s key executives and leaders in all the businesses of the Group, as well as with shareholders and directors. The “Group Support & Control” team, largely based in Singapore, works with Geoff in achieving Group goals. An actuary by profession, Geoff worked for 15 years as a consultant, leading M&A assignments and company appraisals. Before joining NMG in 1992, Geoff worked with Swiss Re, initially in Johannesburg and subsequently in Zurich.


Craigh Chidrawi

Executive Head: Institutional

Location: Johannesburg

Craigh joined NMG in 2018. He is currently the Executive Head: Institutional Business and is responsible for the Retirement Funds Consulting and Actuarial businesses in South Africa and Namibia, as well as the Retirement Fund Administration business.

Craigh Chidrawi has almost three decades of experience in the employee benefits industry. He was previously the Head: Alexander Forbes Retirement Fund for close to 15 years and led the team that grew that umbrella fund from a few billion to approximately R70 billion in assets.

Craigh has a strong focus on people – both clients and their members and the team that he leads. He is passionate about providing excellent service and leads by example. Craigh enjoys being involved in setting strategy for the business.

Craigh has a B.Com in Industrial Psychology from Rhodes University.


Delphine Lesauvage

Group Chief Financial Officer

Location: Paris

Delphine is responsible for the Finance function across NMG Group. Delphine has an In-depth involvement in Business Planning & Analysis, Budgeting, Ad hoc Analysis, P&L Management, Merger & Acquisitions. Coordinate Finance function through perimeter changes and manage multi-cultural teams. Delphine brings 20+ years of international professional experience in finance.

Motshabi Mokone

Location: Botswana

Chief Executive Officer

Ms. Motshabi Mokone has amassed a wealth of knowledge and experience working at various reputable organisations within Botswana. Motshabi is a skilled strategist with a proven track record of transforming strategic plans into workable solutions, a visionary leader and a performance driven executive with expertise in optimising operational processes.

She is an advocate for the support of the advancement of women in leadership within the financial services industry. This is evidenced by the mentorship she provides to young and upcoming female leaders within the financial services industry in Botswana as well as South Africa.

Prior to her appointment as Chief Executive Officer of NMG Administrators Botswana, Motshabi was the Managing Director of Absa Life Botswana for approximately 9 years.


Gaolatlhe Otsetswe

Location: Botswana

Executive Head of Operations

Ms. Otsetswe holds a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences (Sociology and Public Administration) from the University of Botswana, Certificate of proficiency in Retirement Funds from the Insurance Institute of South Africa. She is a trained professional in Social Security Protection – programme formulation, implementation and governance (ITC, ILO). She worked for the Botswana Public Officers Pension Fund for 15 years holding different roles; Regional Manager and Director Fund Administration. She has completed a number of professional development courses on fund administration, Risk Management and leadership making her a seasoned pension administrator.


Karabo Lesokwane

Risk and Compliance Manager

Location: Botswana

Karabo has a wealth of experience in the fields of Risk and compliance. Her career began in banking with Standard Charted Bank, where she served in various capacities in the bank up until 2014 when she joined the Fund as the Risk and Compliance Manager. In 2021 she moved to NMG Administrators Botswana to assume the role of Risk & Compliance Manager. Karabo graduated from the University of Botswana with a Bachelor of Business Administration. She has also attained a Post Graduate Certificate in Enterprise Risk Management (BAC), Management Development Program (University of Stellenbosch), COP (Insurance) with the Insurance Institute of South Africa, a Diploma in Accounting & Business Studies (UB) and a wealth of training and workshops on Risk management & assurance and related issues.


Kabo Morokotso

Company Secretary & Legal Manager

Location: Botswana

Kabo holds an LLB from the University of Botswana, a Postgraduate Certificate in Taxation from the Botswana Accountancy College, and a Certificate in Investment Management from the University of Cape Town. He is currently reading for his LLM at the University of Botswana. He began his career at Collins Newman & Co as a Candidate in Attorney. He later joined Desai Law Group as an Associate in the Corporate and Commercial Department. He also worked for Orange Botswana as a Legal Specialist where he advised on various commercial, transactions and telecommunications. Before Joining NMG Botswana, Kabo was a legal advisor to the Botswana Public Officers Pension Fund where he advised on a range of matters including among others, investment management, fund administration, legal due diligence exercises, legal and regulatory compliance and corporate governance. Kabo has experience in financial services, telecommunications, investment management, legal and regulatory compliance, corporate governance, fund administration and general legal advisory.


Njalakangwa Ndzinge

Human Capital Business Partner

Location: Botswana

Njalakangwa holds an MSc in Human Resource Management from Heriot-Watt University, a BSocSci (Honours) in Organisational Psychology and a BSocSci in Labour, Organisational Psychology and Human Resource Management from the University of Cape Town. In her career, she has worked as a generalist Human Resource practitioner as well as a Human Resource Consultant. As a Human Resource Consultant at CGP Consultants, Njalakangwa specialised in the end-to-end recruitment process of reputable organisations within Botswana and South Africa. She has, however, spent the majority of her career working as a generalist Human Resource practitioner and began her career at Botswana Insurance Company and later at Barloworld Motor Retail. Prior to joining NMG Administrators Botswana, Njalakangwa worked at Botswana Public Officers Pension Fund within the Human Capital department and was tasked with supporting the implementation of the Human Capital strategy; implementing effective Human Capital operations, particularly with regards to recruitment, performance management, compensation and benefits; driving employee engagement; and providing overall advise, support and guidance to the various business units. Njalakangwa is a firm believer of the purpose of NMG – finding a better way and being passionate about people because people are the most essential ingredient in any and every business.
